Man what is going on??? I had students coming into the health room like mad today. I have three beds in the health room and I had them stacked 2 deep at times. I couldn't get them picked up fast enough.
I am glad we only have 3 more days then we are off for a week. Just maybe this bug will die out!!! Leastwise I can sure hope for that to happen. I think I send 6 or 7 students home today.

Branden is on the mend. Like I told Gloria he told me he didn't eat all day yesterday until dinner. That is why he was sick. To my way of thinking that is just plain dumb. Especially for an extremely active 17 year old. Anyone every have the urge to squish them??? I quite often threaten to sit on them and bounce. Of course they laugh at me...

Tonight Billy isn't feeling up to snuff. Of course it could be the snuff in his pocket. I really don't like that stuff.. I sure hope he can shake this off too.
Chuck and I are still staying healthy. Glad we got our flu shots!!!

Billy therapist wanted me to come with him today. We really had a good session, I think. Even Billy was interacting well. I think his therapist was rather surprised. He asked me to tell him some things Billy did that was good, I just went on and on. Then he asked me what it was that I really didn't like that Billy did. Easy, 1- use tobacco products, 2- not shower, 3- not make the most of his education, just try!!! That is it in a nut shell. Of course his therapist knows that he has anger problems, depression problems, and is ADHD and PTSD. But, we are gaining on it!!

OK, now it is time to go beat the boys and try to get some homework out of them. My playtime???

Today was a normal day for me. Back to work and unfortunately lots of sick students. We have something going through our school that is not nice to the little ones. They come in with a screaming headache and then end up with a high fever, 102+. I don't like that.

It has only been a couple time I have been unable to reach someone to come and pick up the child and get them home to medication. That does upset me!!! Today I only sent 5 children home.

Recess was great!! the sun was out and it was actually warm. The kids were playing soccer, I got a couple goals too, and getting lots of fresh air and exercise. Great weather... I don't want it to go away...

After I got home Grandpa called me and told me that Branden is throwing up. Oh Yippee Skippy!!! Just what we need. A sick kid!! Thankfully when they got home Branden seems fine. I don't know and I don't care. I just don't want that flu stuff here. Grandpa doesn't need that!! I am going to make Branden stay home tomorrow and the school rules say 24 hours home after you throw up. No, he is not at all upset.

Terri told Branden last night that she is going to TRY to come for a visit. Something like April 8th - 10th. So hang on, if she makes it she will be online. I promise.

Terri did something really sweet last night. I was talking with her on the phone and Iming with Gloria. I mentioned to Terri how sick Gloria is and how blue she has been. Well, Terri just hung up on me and called Gloria. I thought that was pretty cool.

And Abby, Terri agrees with me.... Myung is beautiful!!!!

That is about all this old brain has in it for tonight. I need to close up shop and hit the hay. My body is saying nite nite..

Have a blessed Resurrection Day

A man is driving along a highway and sees a rabbit jump out across the middle of the road.

He swerves to avoid hitting it, but unfortunately the rabbit jumps right in front of the car.

The driver,
a sensitive man as well as an animal lover,
pulls over and gets out to see
what has become of the rabbit.
Much to his dismay, the rabbit is the Easter Bunny, and he is DEAD .

The driver feels so awful that he begins to cry.
A beautiful blond woman driving down the highway
sees a man crying on the side of the road
and pulls over.

She steps out of the car and asks the man
what's wrong.

'I feel terrible,' ! he explains,
'I accidentally hit the Easter Bunny with my car and KILLED HIM.'

The blond says,'Don't worry.'

She runs to her car
and pulls out a spray can.
She walks over to the limp, dead Easter Bunny ,
bends down,
and sprays the contents onto him.

The Easter Bunny jumps up,
waves its paw at the two of them
and hops off down the road.

Ten feet away he stops,
turns around and waves again,

he hops down the road another 10 feet,
turns and waves,

hops another ten feet,
turns and waves,

and repeats this again and again and again and again,
until he hops out of sight.

The man is astonished.
He runs over to the woman and demands,

'What is in that can?
What did you spray on the Easter Bunny ?'

The woman turns the can around
so that the man can read the label.

It says..

Today is Good Friday. My way of thinking, it should be a holiday. But, of course the government doesn't see things my way. If they did, a lot of things would be different. But, like the old saying goes, put our wants in one hand and your needs in the other. Which is heavier?

Yahoo, Spring is finally here official! now all we have to do is wait for the weather to catch up with the calendar.. I am ready for warm sunny weather. Being outside doing recess can get nippy!! We have one more week of school then we are off again for a week, Spring Break. Believe it or not.

I managed to rattle some trees around here. I have been real depressed and unhappy about the way the boys are NOT doing their homework and getting lousy grades at best. Both of them a capable of doing their work. (I think it is a control issue.) Anyway, my mood was going deeper and deeper. Finally I lost it. I flat told the boys what I was feeling and how unhappy I was with them, I even told them that I felt that I would rather be dead than sitting here watching them destroy their futures. WELL --- I upset them pretty good. They did not like the idea of me not being alive and here. I told them they were causing it and only they could change it. Branden is now giving me 2 hours a day on his homework, and well, Billy promise 30 minutes but that is still a promise in the works. Both of them know they are going to have to spend their Spring Break doing makeup work IF they don't get it done before the 29th. (The bitch is back!)
