I had a nice post ready to go and poof.... All gone. Darn that is upsetting... Oh well, I am to tired to start over tonight.

Last night was not a good night for me. I went to bed at my normal 10:30 or 11:00PM, I laid and read for about a half hour. Everything is normal and quiet. So I go to sleep.

At 1:47AM I am jolted awake and have a strong urge to check the boys. I never ignore this message. Sure enough Branden was up, in the kitchen, but the bad part was that his room reeked of sulfur. He had been playing with matches. I just do not understand.

He is physically 17 years old. You would think by now he would understand that playing with matches is dangerous and could very easily burn our home down. Needless to say I was not a very friendly Grandma at that point in time. We both went back to bed.

At 3:00AM I woke with a start again. I could swear someone yelled my name. I looked over toward our bedroom door and saw an orange glow. I bolted out of bed and ran into the hallway. There was nothing... But I tell you my blood was really pumping as my heart was about to jump out of my chest. I checked both boys and they were both snoring. So again I went back to bed.

When Chuck woke me up at 7:00AM, I felt like I had been through the wringer for sure. What a night. I am getting too old for these kind of nights. Why is it that he can not just go to bed and sleep like everyone else?? Why is he constantly doing things that he knows are wrong and will cause trouble for him??? I just don't get it.

Oh well, we are all safe and I didn't kill him. The thought is still there but I am restraining myself.

Dave came home from the pub late one Friday evening stinking drunk, as he often did, and crept into bed beside his wife who was already asleep.

He gave her a peck on the cheek and fell asleep.

When he awoke he found a strange man standing at the end of his bed wearing a long flowing white robe. 'Who the hell are you?' demanded Dave, 'and what are you doing in my bedroom?'

The mysterious man answered 'This isn't your bedroom and I'm St Peter.'

Dave was stunned "You mean I'm dead!!! That can't be, I have so much to live for, I haven't said goodbye to my family. . You've got to send me back straight away."


St Peter replied "Yes, you can be reincarnated but there is a catch.

We can only send you back as a dog or a hen."

Dave was devastated, but knowing there was a farm not far from his house, he asked to be sent back as a hen.

A flash of light later he was covered in feathers and clucking around pecking the ground.

"This ain't so bad" he thought, until he felt this strange feeling
welling up inside him. The farmyard rooster strolled over and said "So you're the new hen, how are you enjoying your first day here?"

"It's not so bad" replies Dave, "but I have this strange feeling inside like I'm about to explode."

"You're ovulating" explained the rooster, "don't tell me you've never laid an egg before." "Never" replies Dave. "Well just relax and let it happen".

And so he did and after a few uncomfortable seconds later, an egg pops out from under his tail. An immense feeling of relief swept over him and his emotions got the better of him as he experienced motherhood for the first time.

When he laid his second egg, the feeling of happiness was overwhelming and he knew that being reincarnated as a hen was the best thing that ever happened to him . . . Ever!!!

The joy kept coming and as he was just about to lay his third egg he felt an enormous smack on the back of his head and heard his wife shouting...



Dave, wake up you drunken bastard, you've shit the bed!


I'm bad, I'm bad and I know it....

I took a picture of my first Camila in full bloom. Also, one of my Clematis are getting ready to open up. Spring is here it has to be!!!! I wanted to post them, but.....I get an error message that the stream can not open the upload matrix. What gives???

Anyone??? Hope it isn't just me...
