Idle Thoughts

 My Next Life!

In my next life I want to live my next life backwards.

You start out dead and get that out of the way.

Then you wake up in an old age home feeling better every day.

You get kicked out for being too healthy; go collect your pension, and then when you start work, you get a gold watch on your first day.

You work 40 years until you're young enough to enjoy your retirement.

You drink alcohol, you party, you're generally promiscuous and you get ready for High School.

You go to primary school, you become a kid, you play, you have no responsibilities, you become a baby, and then...

You spend your last 9 months floating peacefully in luxurious spa-like conditions with central heating, room service on tap, larger quarters everyday, and then voila!

You finish off as an orgasm!

I rest my case.

Love ya,

Granny.....

 We are Welcome!

Today we had an appointment with the Pastor at another church by where we live. We went in, answered his questions, told him what had happened completely and honestly. WE ARE ALL WELCOME!! So I truly believe that God is leading us to where he wants us.

So Sunday we can go to church and worship as a family. Praise God!!

If you think I am happy, you are right.

Love to all and thank you so much for all the prayers. Keep it up, it is good for you.

 One fight over.

This morning my husband got the word he has dreaded for so long. His youngest sister, only 58 years old, has been fighting cancer for 11 years. This morning she stopped fighting and went home to the Lord. He called me at work right away and told me.

Yesterday we were able to make the trip up to visit with her. My husband had a real strong need to make the trip. He rally wanted all of us to go with him. We did. They had a good visit and that is good. This morning when he got the news, it was OK as he was able to have the time he did with her.

He spent most of the day getting in contact with as many of his brothers and sisters as he could. It can be so frustrating when people change phone number and don't share with the new numbers. It make contacting very hard.

Stay in touch with your family. You only have one family, don't waste it.

Love all,
Granny

Just maybe some sanity in the darkness....

On the TV tonight there was a story about a church where a sex offender was asking for membership. It was an interesting story because the underlying story within the story was Faith. Did the people have the faith to forgive and accept the sinner among them. This was an adult with two sexual offences against him. He had served his time and was now looking to join a church to help change his life.

The Pastor was interviewed and talked about the fact that it could cause a division of the church, but he felt that he would end up for a stronger church for the test that had been put upon them. I have to applaud this Pastor. He is a true man of God. I wish we had many more like him.

In the story he stood before his congregation and told them that they were going to have a true test of their faith. He did not turn the sinner away. He welcomed him!! The offender was offered the option to be escorted at all times at church, but at least he was welcome to worship.

It is just too bad that an immature child with emotional problems can not be given the same treatment as this adult multiple offender!!!

Prayers still needed as always.

Best Laid Plans of Mice and Men...

Well, that didn't work very well. We had our plan to attend a different church, but Branden was not on the same page. This is not because he does not want to worship. Branden has an emotional problem with change and that causes uncertainty, and a lot of confusion within him.

This morning he was withdrawn and unsure of what to do. We finally added the option to stay home and then the tension for him what gone. I worried about this problem. Now, I have to wait and see what happens Monday. If his judges say he can return to worship, then we will. But I have no intention of becoming as involved as I was. I will be a member, but that will be it.

When men think they have the ability to judge, then there is a problem. But to me getting Branden back into worship takes priority.

So it is back to my unfinished house work for the remainder of this day.

Love to all from Washington,
Granny
