I found out last night that Billy is still having trouble on the bus. He didn't tell us, we got a call from a volunteer fireman. He had been approached by another community member and they were discussing just how badly Billy is being treated on the bus and the driver is doing NOTHING!!!

Here is what Granny Sherlock found out. Coming home from school on Jan 4th a boy slugged Billy in the head hard enough for everyone on the bus to hear it. The driver did nothing!! This boy has been hitting Billy a lot and Billy has not been telling us about it. This wonderful student doesn't even go to the same school Billy does.

Well, I'll tell you, I snapped off some emails this morning to several people. I rattled cages. I got three emails back from the high school real quick. Transportation called me personally. So there will be changes. I have talked to transportation before about a similar problem and that stopped fast. So I expect nothing less this time.

In my emails I told everyone that crimes are being committed on that bus and no one is stopping them. Assault is a crime!!! So is Bulling!! So they better do something real fast.

I spoke with Branden tonight. He had his presentation yesterday and I wanted to know how it went. He was surprisingly happy. He had realized just how much he left out of the presentation. How much more he still has to learn. He completely left himself out of the presentation. No feelings, no emotions just details and facts. No Branden. So, now he is excited about starting therapy over. He wants to learn.

I was so worried about him refusing therapy and going to a different cottage. I was praying all the time about this. I knew that the Lord would do what is best. Oh me of little faith!!! But worry is a built in part of parenthood. I have never been able to not worry about a child I love. Even the ones around the age of 36 - 45. They are still my kids!!!

I would be very willing to bet that when I sign off and get to bed, I am going to sleep tonight!!! We are off again early in the morning to go visit. ( Just noticed the post time is EST, I am PST.)

I can not tell all of you how great your support is. Thank you so much. Please don't stop.

I just spoke with Branden. His mood was much better today. They went back to school today and he was happy. That is a good thing. Having too much time on his hands is very dangerous for any 16 year old boy!!

We are beginning a count down. He reaches the half way point tomorrow. Now IF he can just keep doing what he is supposed to do. I am beginning to think he is much like his mother(Terri). Couldn't resist!! Not since I know she is back with us. He has got an idea in his head and I am trying very hard to convince him that he should not stop the therapy and move to another cottage.
I feel that will be the second worse mistake in his life. But, who an I?? What do I know?? Maybe his mom will help???

Billy was up and running for the door yesterday. I think being grounded for breaking the family rules had an effect!! I'll have to try that one again..

Oh I am sooo mean!!!
