Idle Thoughts

 Interesting Mail delivery.
Back to Full Blog

I know Miss Terri will get a real charge out of this news.

We got another mailing from the king County Prosecuting Attorney's office today. It seems that they caught up with the boy's father "again". He has been in and out of jail and in and out of court over his lack of support payments. well, today they released him again with an order to pay $750 a month by payroll deduction. Same as last time. He is supposed to pay by the 1st of every month. (Do you see me holding my breath??)

ALSO!!! We received a mailing from the local welfare office and it seems that their father has now got medical coverage on them. He had this one time before and when I went to use it, it was no longer there. Not a big surprise.

Now you are still wondering why Miss Terri will enjoy this?? Well, the welfare department tried to force her to supply medical on the boys too. Since she is paying her support and is somewhat involved in their life, I got ahold of the welfare and told them her coverage is not necessary as we have complete coverage on them. BUT, I have no intention of doing that for their father!!! He can just carry the double coverage on them. With what Billy may be going through we may just need it.

Now, I know I am not showing any charity for him, but he has hurt these boys so deeply it isn't funny. So if he can provide anything for them, I am not going to stop it. I have bent over backwards to help that man be a father to these two. It isn't a high priority to him so he can just suffer. They deserve the best.

Now, I have to find out what is covered and what is not. Then I ca n decided which coverage is the best for them. I do know our HMO is far from good. but we are stuck with it.

Oh darn, I am getting questions about dinner. Guess I am going to have to go cook. What should I fix... It is only 6:00PM what is the rush???

OK, I am gone. Have a great evening.

Well its about time that their father stepped up to the plate. I understand that it is yet to be seen. But I would do as you are doing and make him pay they say what goes arround comes back ten fold.
I sure hope that you are having a wonderful week end.
MUAH!!!!!!!!!

Granny,

I don't think you are doing wrong. Deadbeat Dads are the WORST!
Go get 'im!

Hugggggggggggggggggggz,
Taylor

By the way, you might want to check out SuppportKids.Com. They can collect back child support when no one else can. They charge 30% of what they collect ... BUT 70% of something is WAY BETTER than 100% of NOTHING!

You got it Taylor. He is the worse kind. He hurt Billy especially as Billy never bonded with his Mom. So I really feel no guilt..

Thanks for the info Taylor. The State is trying very hard to collect from him. Right now they have him between that rock and a hard spot. So IF he starts paying regularly, we will get the support and the State will get their arrears. This is one debt that just doesn't go away when the kid turns 18. Big surprise!!!

GRanny - that is how the story so often goes with these situations. I trust you will actually get some coverage and support.

We have the same wish June. What he would pay will not make or break us, but it might help a bit. "IF" the medical is good, I have found out that Billy's therapist take it so just maybe more therapy for Billy. that would be a blessing. But again, as before, for how long???
