Oh well, tomorrow it is back to normal. Up at 7AM and out the door about 8:20AM. But I counted and it is only22 more days and school will be out until Sept. I think I can handle that.
During these next few weeks I have to get all my 5th grade files ready to move to another school. I have a group of incoming Kindergartners to get into the computer and I have to try to get the 5th grader's parents to get their 6th grade shots. I am afraid that this year I am going to have several who have not done as requested.
It is all busy paper work and I like that. Yes, you could call me a paperwork person. I have always liked it.
The weekend was not as spectacular as Friday, but it was good. The lawn is freshly cut, and the yard looks much better than before the weekend. G-pa worked on the boat most of today. He is bound and determined to get that boat in the water this year. I won't stand in his way! My only concern is GAS!! He claims it doesn't take that much to take it out. but to me, any is too much at these prices. (I would love to go back to $0.25 per gallon. Yes, I remember that. I dream!!!
My sister is trying to get me to commit to going out to dinner for our birthdays. They are four days apart so we celebrate together. It is fun. For those four days, we are the same age. Oh, how I enjoy those days. You see she is my "little" sister. So having her the same age is fun. Thanks Mom. She is talking seafood and I am in the mood for good Chinese. So we will have to work on this...
Well, I should get out of here and start getting the boys settled for the night. Not my favorite past-time. You would think at their ages they could figure out it is time to go to bed. They have to get up early for school. But every night I have to tell them to turn off the TV and get to bed. If I don't, they won't. Ridiculas!!!
Night all,
Granny

My wife if Special Ed and counting the days as well. Congratulations on another successful year. Perhaps you should give yourself a treat and fly to Hawaii...be happy to point you in the right directions.
sounds like you have your job in hand!!!!
I would let grandpa tinker with the boat - it keeps him from under our feet!! and it would be nice to see the young ones in the boat with them - it would be his pride and joy to do that I am sure
have a great day
