A friend of mine talked me into starting a blog on another site. I wrote mainly about what it was like to raise grandchildren. The plan was to offer my experiences and encouragement to others. There are a large amount of us out there.
Well it was OK. I wrote and very few showed any interest. Yes, my friend would comment, and maybe one or two others, but that was it. That went on until everything broke loss and our church would not allow Branden to worship. (I have posted about that already.) Anyway, I went to my blog to express my feeling. I heard about that right away!! I might upset others in the congregation. "Oh take that post down." I did, but I also left that site and the church. Something is very wrong there. (My opinion.)
Miss Terri got me started on the Stream. I have to say this is a completely different world. I feel free to say what is on my mind. I have yet to be condemned for expressing my feeling, hurts, vents, or anything else. I can be serious, or I can have fun here. It is a comfortable and welcoming group. For that I say thank you!! I am finding friends, encouragers, support and inspiration on the Stream. It is a world apart from the other site for me. It totally got ruined for me by people I thought were friends. "History."
Anyway this site allows me to be me. Sometimes that can be hard and other times I just let it all hang out. I am 62 years old now, just what can I say that could be worrisome to someone else. If so, so be it...
Well, now you know what is rattling around in my brain tonight. Not much huh??
OH, I am concerned about a boy from school. He fell today in PE and smacked his head on the gym floor quite hard. Our RN was in the Health Room today when it happened. The boys was disoriented, confused and was sweating profusely. We called the parents. About a minute later he started vomiting. We called 911 right away, then I called the parent and told them what had happened and that we had called for the paramedics. She hung up on me and came flying. He was transported to the hospital. I haven't heard anything more as I had to leave and attend a meeting. So tonight I offer up a pray for this boy.
I am finished for tonight. My Mariners are behind again so I need to go cheer them on. It won't help, but I can try... They are having a real bad season..
Night all. Big Hugssss...

As to the blog world - well, I have also found this to be a place where one can say and do what one wants. Some others say no but I try to be a person of peace so try to circumvent issues I see that may be potential hazards. Thank you for being you and for being a friend - June
I am so glad I met you here - I have you bookmarked - I enjoy your simple honesty and straightforward view of life.

Thanks to both of you for all your prayers.
