 QUILTS!!!!! Done..
Back to Full Blog

Here is the first quilt I made this summer.... It is for a baby girl coming this month..

This is the second quilt I am just finishing. this one is for a baby boy coming next month.

There now you can see why my insanity level grew so high. Actually these are only the second and third quilts I have ever made. The first one turned out a bit funky..

I really think I like quilting...

Bye for now,
Hugs,
Granny

Thank you Gloria... The boys know how, but since I have an embroidery machine, I don't let them mess with it much at all. Glad you like the background. What do you mean???? I am not green!!!!

Thank you PolarB. I had fun making them. One of the babies is alredy here and the other we are still waiting for his arrival. From what I have read, you are quite the gardener. Wish I was, I love flowers.... We each have our own talents. Hugs, Granny

Thank you Ron. The boys are doing good. Doing the count down to the start of school. Billy is a bit happier than Branden at this point. Branden is attending the regular High School, they start on the 3rd. Billy on the other hand is attending an alternative High School. They start on the 15th and only will hold classes Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. For some unknown reason Branden doesn't see this as fair. But then again, Branden will be attending a Tech School half days this year. I am praying for a good year.

SammyJo, You used a word that I really don't like. Can't is one of those four letter words you know. Sorry, that is the Granny in me showing. But I'll bet you could if you wanted to...

Thank you Taylor. I did so enjoy giving them to the first time parents. With both of them being nieces, it was special.

Hugs right back to you...

I do enjoy my gardening and yes that is true we all bring our talents to the table. It's what makes the world great don't you think? Lots of diversity!

I have to tell you a funny story about my attempts at quilting as a teenager. I took a quilting class in school and promptly flunked it because my idea of quilting was sewing a patterned sheet to a piece of square fleece that was like twin size. I figured the sheet looked like a quilt so that was what I did. My teacher was not amused. Ohhh well..... At least I know what I am NOT good at huh?

Bear Hugs!~
