OH DARN!!! We just received a letter telling that we will be losing the State Grant the boys receive. Their reason, the State is now collecting over that amount we were getting and will be sending the larger amount to us.. OH DARN!! That will be a major help to us. We will be getting more than double what we were.

I had called and left a message at Dept. of Child Support asking if this isn't what is supposed to happen. I actually got a call back from a live human being. A very nice lady I must add. During the course of our conversation I mentioned how the increase would help pay for out of pocket medical expenses for the boys. OH DARN... This very nice lady bawled me out for not sending the overages to the father's insurance company. I explained that the Dr. refuses to except the State medical coupon, And that it had been explained to me that the parent's insurances would be billed by the State medical. So how was I to get them to pay?? She explained to me that I should get a claim form from the company and a statement from the doctor and send it in.. OH DARN!!! More help. OH DARN!!

So we call the insurance company and they could not talk to me as I am not one of the boys. OH DARN!!! I handed the phone to Billy and he told them what we needed and why. I am sure they could hear me loud and clear explaining to Billy what we needed. We received the forms in the mail. I got a statement and some extra information that the doctor's office said they would need. That was from another very nice, helpful lady. Today I sat down and filled out the form as much as we could. They wanted address and employment information on the father. I told them to get it from Dept. of Child Support, or the Prosecuting Attorney for King County. I explained that he had no contact with the boys for over 5 years by his own choice. Then I had Billy sign the form. OH DARN... I wonder if they will accept it???? We can always go to the PA in King County or the State Insurance Commissioner... OH DARN.....

As you can see it has been interesting around here. The boys are tickled that we will be getting a larger amount for their support. That will mean little extras for them. OH DARN!!! They have never been spoiled...

We are having 90* weather up here in this corner of the country. This is not what we are used to. So I am just now going to start dinner.
